If there’s anyone that knows how to run an effective campaign, it’s Suave. The brand went undercover posing as evaus beauty (ahem, Suave backwards) and poured their signature drugstore concoction into ultra-coveted and Instagrammable packaging in an effort to teach bloggers that healthy and beautiful manes don’t have to come with a salon shelf price tag.
A handful of today’s top influencers were 1000% convinced the fictitious brand had monumentally increased the sleekness of their locks; some admitting it was a “game changer”. “Modern and edgy”, another blogger used to describe it. (That is, until they were handed a refill evaus box- with traditional Suave products inside.)
